Jessica Alba rockin' her Parang Motif Batik


A beautifull Sight of Jessica Alba at Step-Up's Fourth Annual Fashion Forward Luncheon back in 2004.

FYI: Parang is the most famous of Garis Miring
(diagonal design). Parang motif was once used exclusively by royal courts of Central Java
Forty Patterns are recorded, the most famous being the Parang Rusak.
The Parang are among the most visualy stricking of all batik patterns. They are considered as fortunate pattern and produce sliming effect on the woman and man who is wearing it.
