Pisang Goreng or Banana fritters is Indonesian sweet popular snaks or dessert dish. Serve when its hot with a cup of tea or coffee makes you want it again and again.
Its easy to make and only need 15 to 20 minutes to cook!:-D
Here's what you need,
4 ripe bananas or plaintains
1/2 c self-rising flour
1/2 c rice flour
2 ts granulated sugar
1/2 ts salt
1/4 ts vanilla powder
1 egg
1 c water or 1/2 c milk
Oil for deep frying
*Here's how to make,
1.Shift the flours.
2.Add sugar, egg, salt and vanilla powder to water or milk.
3.Stir until consistenly of cream.
4.Slice each banana lenghtwise and dip them in the batter 2 or 3 times untill well coated.
5.Heat the oil to 190c/375F
6.Deep-fry the battered banana until crisp and golden brown.
7.Drain and serve hot.

I love Indonesian banana fritters. I always wonder what are the ingredients. We also have banana fritters but it's not as nice as banana fritters in Bandung! In Bandung, I usually buy at the stalls infront of factory outlets. I like the one infront of STAMP FO. Recently, when I went to Bandung the stall was not open!
