Amanda is the most famous and favorite steamed brownie in Bandung. Brownies Kukus Amanda- so we call it here, is created by a home state mom named Sumiwiludjeng.
Together with her Children and her children in law, she runs the biz from scratch making and selling this delicious steamed brownies till it become very popular as today that you might have to queue before it opens!
If you wonder where's the word of Amanda comes from, well Amanda is an acronym of “Anak Mantu Damai” -Anak means children, Mantu means children in law , as Damai means peace -which to me its sounds more like a wish of a loving mother every where in the world for her family :)
